What is the cost of producing chips overseas and importing them into the US? How many SOX members have foreign production facilities? With the fall in the dollar the cost of chips goes up for US consumers.
Kind of the double whammy for semis. The sector gets commoditized to where margins get tight and then a currency shift kicks them when they are down. Are they like airline stocks now?
