Jenna, did you get the rationale of why PCLN went up after this report? (I wouldn't use them to sell a room in a doghouse.)

SNDK Killer**Feb 11, 2004 (streetinsider.com via COMTEX) --The Wall Street Journal reports Sandisk (Nasdaq: SNDK) is offering a sharp price break for storage cartridges that hold 32 megabytes of data for $14.99, which is about half the price of its prior 32-megabyte cartridges. With that price, and other changes in packaging and marketing, SanDisk hopes to spur cartridge sales.

CMCSA --> puts $0.25 to $2.00 those straddles are so cool!

emailed a cheaper straddle on CMCSA:

CMCSA ----> might be more like VIAb and less volatile. The February 32.50 CCQBZ and the March (for longer term hold) or the February 35 calls are very cheap (Even some February 32.50 puts as a hedge at only $0.25 bid and ask are a good risk/reward here).

I'm a little concerned we are going to gap up and crap or gap down and fill. A less "intense" play might be CMCSA (loosely in the industry with viacom) which was watched this morning. Viacom is a diversified worldwide entertainment company also includes cable networks. Both Viacom and Comcast charts are looking to reverse from protracted downside BOUNCED off the 50 day moving average today on volume.

The cable networks segment operates MTV Music Television, Showtime, Nickelodeon/Nick at Nite, VH1 Music First, MTV2 Music Television, TV Land, TNN: The National Network, CMT: Country Music Television, the BET Cable Network and BET Jazz: The Jazz Channel, among other program services. The television segment consists of the CBS and UPN television networks, King World Productions and Paramount Television.
