However, here's a part of your post no. 23217 that I'm sure most people who believe in ECNC find offensive:

First, neither Sun nor ECNC have denied "any kind of relationship." ECNC denies a "formal" relationship (i.e., a contractual one) and Sun says these type of statements violate company policy. I assume that means that Sun wants all "news" to originate and/or be cleared through their PR department. Obviously, that was not done here. Pointedly, Sun did not deny that Yarter said what the PR said he said or say it was wrong.

I, like misterlmf, do not remember the exact words Tom used to introduce Yarter. But, he was not dressed in a suit (he was wearing a Sun golf shirt), did not look like a Sun executive (rather a techie working with ECNC) and was reluctant to speak. After he spoke publicly, others, like DaiTN, flocked around him at the break and he seem to speak rather freely to them. When I tried to listen in, I got bored quickly because I am not a techie and couldn't follow what was being talked about.

I might add that you misled everyone about your intentions in going to Comdex. You gave every impression that you would visit the ECNC booth when you went to Comdex. Here's what you wrote in post no. 22376:

How do you meet folks from the ECNC thread when you don't go to the ECNC booth? You imply you will go there; now say you didn't. What's up with that? You can't maintain your own credibility when you yourself don't follow through.

I don't begrudge you your profits, but perhaps you should take your own advice and stay off this thread.

Just like Tom can ruin ECNC by rash statements; you can similarly ruin InvestorsHub. ... eom
