Silkwood died, as you will see if you saw the movie, and foul play was shown by the evidence to be the most likely scenario. She had been investigating the nuclear industry and worked in a plant and was writing about the unsafe procedures when she died, or was killed. Before her death she was being followed and scared. Jane Fonda played her in the movie which was widely acclaimed. I suggest you see it and judge for yourself.
