That happened today and with nearly every trade I have evver made with E8Trade ... Even the fact they are an MM they can;t fill squat unless they get double and even in some cases tripke the commission and now they want all the requirement of the margin and the dangers.
I have Scotrade and free trade and siebert net to check out. Have been trying to get to all the internt breokerages to do a comparison.
regardless I am getting the heck out of E*trade and all their cute little tactics they get away from with ost excuses that anything I have ever experienced in my trading history
