Yes, Interesting Eh?
Just proves to me that you can never be sure how a stock price might react to it's earnings. And how the charts might not always give an indication of how extensive the move might be. The saying is that News can effect a stocks price beyond the TA, and Earnings are definitely a significant News event.

Actually the reverse, its the GUIDANCE that is everything, beating is nothing. Estimates were lowered to such an extent that they should be beat, it didn't help 75% of the techs to "beat estimates" They crashed anyhow. The next important hurdle is to see those sitting on the fence now like AVNX and JCOM how they get upgraded/downgraded tomorrow and we might get another gap fill, gap 'n crap or just a plain or ordinary SOLID MOVE DOWN for days like last report.
