Doma...You're right. I should have worded that sentence this way, "I believe most investors initially invested in the potential "demand" of the technology." Afterall, I'm fairly sure that people who invest in Sony, Nobel Drilling, Boston Scientfic, General Dynamics, Microsoft, GE, and Intel etc. don't invest in them because they understand and keep up with how their technolgy works. For the most part, I have a feeling most people invest based on what they feel are the future demands of a company's products.
