Here is my take on your question. First it's not a question of which shell was better for US National Telecom, MEIX or YIWA. Robert Clark controls 4 Goldenberg shells now-MEIX/YIWA/MHTD and REDM. Each of these shells will RM with somebody.
Secondly the reason I believe they switched shells was because it was quicker and easier to merge USNT into YIWA.
The original MEIX/USNT merger paperwork was done completely wrong. They tried to fix it with an ammendment in July. Obviously this didn't fix things so they switched shells.
The new merger paperwork for YIWA/USNT was 100 times more professional than the original MEIX/USNT paperwork. Robert Clark appears to upgraded the quality of his lawyers and it should be smooth sailing from here.
