you made some good points...I am looking at infrastructure of internet
and wondering ...ie..check out bbtk,ancr for instance...madgf blah
blah...there has to be some explosive growth to handle broadband
problems..also so bullish on network computers...
corporations I think are cutting their own throat...you want profits..
ie look at all the American coprorations that put employees out of work by saving money and doing all the work outside of this country..
I think they lost a lot of customers because the people in the third
world couldn't afford their products...and a lot of clothing manufacturers and jewelers closed....their former US employees lost
their buying power...talk about short sightedness....
India is coming quickly along with programmers...a lot of Americans
lost their jobs when a lot of corporations hired cheaper programmers
from Taiwan..0now Gates is building a research center in England..
great for the United States...(Gates wants the universe).at least that is what I have been seeing...
As I have repeatedly said...how many hamburgers and pairs of shoes
can a Gates or Grove buy? the former head of AT and T who lopped off
how many heads and did ziltch for his company and shareholders..for
that matter..
there is no morality or sense of loyalty on either side...I agree..
sorry and fragile state of affairs...wonder how much industrial espionage is going on now...I bet a ton...how else will some workers
make money...(I remain an idealist and think one has to live with
ones conscious..even if you have nothing material to show for it..)
I just think we are killing the middle class...I see so many stores
closing,streets getting dirtier,homeless people sleeping out at night,
restaurants that are not upscale empty,clothes stores that are not
bargain basement or upscale..empty and closing..doesn't look like
we are in boom times..a lot of stressed faces...
