OTTAWA, June 4 (Reuter) - Canada sold no gold in May, the Finance Department said on Wednesday.

Its holdings remained at 3.1 million ounces as of May 31, the department said.

The Canadian government has a policy of gradually selling off its gold reserves and replacing them with interest-bearing assets.
