I'd rather look at it objectively. It's not about being optimistic or pessimistic. It's about being as objective as possible with the information at hand.
The 10Q does show minor progress in a couple areas, but it shows failures in a couple other areas, major areas.
Why do corporations exist? To earn a profit, right? That is the objective of running a business. Failure to earn a profit indicates a failure to run a successful business. That's not opinion.
Bottom line is it doesn't matter. How this trades over the next few days will determine whether or not this was a good quarterly filing because the market has the final say. If this was a good 10Q, the price will rise on the news. If it wasn't, it won't. It's as simple as that.
