...so you're saying OD-66 is worthwhile because Mr. Rivera has the foresight to swap out a 34% of petro-diesel for biodiesel (non-USSE biodiesel)?? Everything else is the same.
What happens when someone else decides to swap out some petro-diesel for biodiesel? People have been blending petro-diesel and biodiesel for a while now. I suspect simply increasing the percentage of biodiesel isn't just a result of Smith in the back of the room standing up and saying, "Hey, It would be a good idea to go from 20% biodiesel to 21% biodiesel." and everyone cheering at the great idea.
Also, Google the biodiesel capacity of the U.S.. It's around a billion gallons a year. If all of that capacity was used and all that went to OD-66 and all of that used USSE bio-elixir as the additive, USSE would sell about 30 million gallons a year. If they clear $1.00/gallon, earnings will be about $0.0084 per share per year. First they have to prove their additive is any good whatsoever before they can take 100% of the additive market and convince everyone to produce OD-66.
USSE doesn't have any advantage in blending as far as I can tell. If their only advantage is some additive, that would be like having a tire manufacture build cars just to sell tires.
The bigger problem is that Mr. Rivera just comes up with some new idea and throws it at shareholders to see what sticks. Sort of a "fling it at the wall" technique.
