To make $1000, 25,000 shares ~ $800,000 !
Thanks, but no thanks. :-)

Add this to the implicit admission that Intel's days as a growth stock are over. I hope Intel investors get their 4 cents a share before the P/E is adjusted to reflect this.

mas,
I'd venture to say a lot of the Intel dividend isn't worth the stamp wasted to mail it. Another motivation factor for Intel engineers to consider while they watch their leaders double their option grants during a weak semiconductor cycle.

Let me see if I have got this right.....

Thanks, but no thanks. :-)

Remind me, when was the last time AMD paid any dividend, and how much was it?

p.s. are Intel that desperate for business they are touting on AMD Investor boards now ? :-)

It's sort of an affectionate thingy... Milo sometimes posts things about AMD on the Intel board etc. As far as it goes, the divident cost Intel about 500mil - not chicken feed, perhaps they have a lot more faith in their engineers and their products and their future, than AMD fans do.

"To earn $1 dividend you would need 25 shares ~$800. "

And how much does AMD pay you to own AMD shares?
