They never took the temperature inside of a dark blue car in Yuma Arizona where the temp matched Bullhead City? The almanac may say one thing, but I know for a fact temps have reached hotter points than those listed. Is that like official, from airports or something? Come on man, you know how hot it gets in Phoenix on the blacktop at Walmart:o).

Hey, do you remember when the coldest temp in North America was recorded? I do. I was skiing and made it on the cover of the New York Times. LOL And that's no bull. That was a stupid day to be skiing. It was 68 degrees below zero at Peter Sinks in Utah. I don't know if that record was ever broken, but I know I'm VERY glad I wasn't skiing if it was!

Seems to me it was 134 degrees in Kuwait when I was there in 1990
