Neuro,

Any scuttlebutt on when we might hear about a CMO hire? Is Fibiger a possibility?

"Sure, and they did. They did all the animal work--some inhouse, some outsourced, and then supervised--necessary to identify, and then document, the 'artifact.'"

"They" might be a stretch. I find it hard to believe that Stoll et al were injecting animals, cranking that freezing microtome, powering up the EM, or analyzing the images. Frankly, I doubt they pushed anything but a few of the buttons on their phones (in a supervisory role, of course). I gotta agree with rblatch, it seems like those involved in writing were unlikely to be the ones getting all that stuff done for tox, and, therefore, they could have found the time to have this IND in the bullpen warming up and ready to go.

That's a good point Neuro about summer staffing, and one that I failed to include in my thought process.

I should have thought of it as I expressed the same sentiment about the announcement for the lifting of the dosage limitation, desiring it to be released after August so everyone was back from vacation and concentrating on their stock portfolios again. Trying to promote anything during the summer months is like talking to a half filled stadium.

Thanks again for your comments. Much appreciated.

Cordially,
RBlatch

Do you think that at this point cor has the leverage it needs in negotiating a BP deal? Can this be initiated prior to an IND filing? Might this not be advantageous, since then the company they partner with can play a bigger role in the IND's development? Also, cor would benefit from the BP's experience with the FDA.

Thanks
