Maybe the appropriate question is:

What did the share price happen to be when Vern happen to be employeed there?

I, too, have been lucky enough to work in leadership positions for two fortune 500 corporation while their share price was higher ... I doubt seriously if my contribution was the main reason their share price was higher while I was there.
