Rumor I heard is not about a buy out, but about CYGX developing someone else's oligo using an ssDNA generating construct.

But the rumor can't be substantiated, and that makes it useless to me. I'm not buying more stock based on a rumor that could have come from anywhere.

Rumors or no rumors, DNA contructs get aound the delivery problems that plague DNA/RNA based medicine.

There are a lot of promising ssDNA molecules out there, and CYGX has the only existing method of making them inside of cells.

Sooner of later we'll be approached by someone much as in the scenario of this current rumor--and a deal will happen, IMO.

Percy........A buy Out!?#*%!?? Please don't say that.
Think about this, how often do potential deals come along like CYGX. Maybe once or twice in a lifetime.
Just think about HIV-1 and Sepsis alone. Yor are talking billions of cases and jillions of dollars. And that is just for starters.
I would like to see this go for years, just to see what it could do (?).
Once it starts to fly (probably in 2004) it could go anywhere.
