The page on SRDX website that you link talks of the cellabration encapsulation SYSTEM and their clinically demonstrated TECHNIQUE...but nowhere does it lay claim to the PEG coating itself. This is still compatible with SRDX having the savy to coat cells but not with a specific polymer (in particular, not the PEG polymer).
I would be happy to be wrong, and interested if you find something that more specifically lays claim to the PEG coating.

The technology definitely belongs to Surmodics. It was asked in a previous conference call and Barclay stated it is "our technology". I personally asked a rep from Surmodics at a convention in NY and received the same answer.
