We went to Europe a few years ago (an anniversary trip)...flew all the way to Berlin, then drove through 6 countries, back to Germany for the return trip, finally landed in San Antonio, picked up our car for the 60 mile trip home and about mid-way had to pull over due to a heavy rainstorm.
It was the ONLY bad weather we encountered during the whole trip...the trucks were barreling down the road and literally blinded us with the spray they kicked up. I've never been so scared in all my life!
It happened again a few days ago while on our way home from the Coast. I'm sure you've heard about the flooding in Corpus Chrisit by now. Don't you or Walt have kin there??
