Where do you get the target for your C wave?

As I understand your current count, A down on the SPX was from 1540 to 1487, a total of 53 points.

B up was from 1487 to 1538.

You now think we are in a C down. Your SPX target in the header is 1426. That would make the C wave 112 points.

If A = C, that would make a target of 1485.

If C extended and was 1.618 times A, that would make a target of 1452.

In order for a C wave to end at 1426, it would have to be 2.11 times A.

Why do you project C to extend that much, and how did you arrive at 1426 as a target?

Looks like all the studying is paying off ... your calls lately have been good.

Agree on focussing on the SPX ... that seems to be the 'lead vehicle' for turns etc. I like to trade the Q's and it's derivatives but have begun watching SPX very closely now.
