Serious1, perhaps he missed this update from GlobeTel:
UNDERSTAND WHAT IT MEANS WHEN WE SAY “NETWORKS POWERED BY GLOBETEL”
NO MÁS CABLES is able to exist because of an intricate, comprehensive management and information system, called Evolutionary Voice and Data System (EVDS), developed in-house at GlobeTel. Any network, present or contemplated, whether strictly a broadband one such as the network being built by NO MÁS CABLES, or one offering broadband Internet and DECT over VoIP, needs this EVDS backbone to exist.
It’s Not HotZone™ vs. EVDS, It’s HotZoneEVDS because HotZone™ alone is not a complete network service and the hardware needs EVDS to do its job for the customer. A HotZone™ device powers on and broadcasts RF (radio frequency). Getting the customer logged into the correct frequency, our Rf frequency (meaning wireless network, note the distinction), requires the capabilities of EVDS.
GlobeTel’s EVDS interface is completely web based. Administrators can manage all functions from billing to the provisioning of devices to Customer Service initiatives, all in one comprehensive platform.
All NMC customers or users of other Networks Powered by GlobeTel are able to see EVDS at work, initially when they login via the “Splash Page”, and then through a secure members only area. This means that the customer will be interacting with EVDS with each keystroke, since the fully featured Customer Service Interface (CSI) platform can troubleshoot billing and access issues, manage customer accounts, add credits, and all other tasks related to daily operation of a data or phone provider.
Our own GlobeTel EVDS also contains a complete Network ManagementSystem, and Customer Support Engine including a hierarchy based TroubleTicket management system.
Regardless of which OEM manufactures the unit for us, the Company’s HotZone™ technology works intimately with EVDS to give GlobeTel a commercial platform for voice and/or data networks, such as NO MÁS CABLES.
