vern - only one problem with having a satelitte that far out. At 65,000 miles no way to get around having quite a large delay. The speed limit for anything in the universe is the speed of light which travel at approx 186,000 miles a second. That means for any signal to travel that far and back it would take at least 7/10 sec, causing that much of a delay. I have hard time believing that nearly a second delay will be acceptable in the far off future.
