Thanks for the info. Sauce. If an experienced and aggressive CEO comes in, that may be what CYGX needs to move ahead. Good results from the avian flu test. Dr. Weiner joining the sci advisory board is another positive thing - this may be another clue has to how close CYGX and VGX Pharma are cooperating in developing HIV, avian flu, and smallpox vaccines.

Thank you very much for your posting what you know. Of course the 15 to 20 million is still the elephant in the room.

Very interesting on the share holders meeting review , I always thought all the mice survived that were treated , but 13 of 15 mice survived avian flu. all the control group died , that is still a very good % survival rate , naturally monkeys or ferrets would show a better example of the protective nature of synDNA vaccines . Thanks for the review

That was a good description of the meeting Sauce.
I think I know who she was too. Did she catch the biggest bass on a trip to Mexico?

One other thing to ponder is Dr Kendirgi wants to streamline the synDNA process for even better/faster results.
-streamline production equipment
-refine the process by: developing automated process
-scale up production capacity
-streamline purification, hence Dr Richard Wilson, Ph.D. who
is a world leading expert when it comes to protein purification.

Sauce: If your info about the shareholders meeting is correct then I see a brief glimmer of hope. The item that arouses my interest is your info that Dr. Weiner is going to join our scientific advisory board. If that is true, then I see a potential 3 way collaboration coming about. Weiner is a co-founder of VGX. VGX owns ADViSYS, which has a cGMP manufacturing facility for producing DNA. That production facility is in The Woodlands, which is a northern suburb of Houston. And we know what's in Houston. IF Weiner is still on board with us in some capacity, and that is a big IF until I see a press release confirming it, then I really think there will be some cooperative effort with CYGX and Weiner's companies. Weiner is the foremost expert in DNA vaccination in the country. His involvement would lend a lot of gravitas to our Scientific Board. But if he were only a direct competitor I have to think it would be some sort of conflict of interest to have him on our board....unless he is a collaborator and not just a competitor. I wish I could confirm your information. But Vical's announcement is a shot accross the bow in the industry. Everyone is going to have to have cell free DNA synthesis. Enter CYGX, to partner up synDNA for VGX/ADViSYS and some of the other second level DNA therapeutics players. We might have lost the big potential customer (Vical), but we can still make money from the dozens of smaller companies that don't have the money and manpower to develop their own cell free process. And ADViSYS has the cGMP facility we could utilize to make synDNA in larger batches until our own facility is in place. And CYGX and ADViSYS are practically neighbors. Th bottom line is....can anyone else definitively confirm that Weiner is joining our Scientific Advisory Board?
