Like using tv guide listings on tvguide.com. The discription stays until the cursor touches the name of show again or another show. Or in this case the movie name or icon.
Those are called "alt atributes" or "alt tags". I don't think you can define an amount of time to view. There are other ways to do this but using different code. So it's not as easy as just changing a number.
