I'm just saying that they made moeny during those time periods, (revenue per quarter was $1 billion +) and anyone with a heads up on that should be looking for short term trading opportunities. I never seen AMD as an investment. But it's not too hard to predict, and it has plenty of ups and downs. That's why I like this stock. It's value has decreased, and it's lost billions and etc... But look at the money the chairs make, and us investors can make. On top of that, they give competition! :D I don't care if the company is driving itself into the ground. As long as they continue to make what they make, and I can make money from trading them, i'm happy.

And on the NexGen investment: from what i've, the original K6 sucked, until NexGen saved them. Fishy, though, how i've never seen these "original K6" plans.
