it's the same old playbook intel uses when they are behind.
Remember, intel said customers didn't need that much speed when intel was behind in the speed race.
When intel blew a fuse on the 1.13 P3 that wouldn't compile a Linux kernel, well, Barrett said Linux was obscure software anyway......
Now that intel remains behind in the 64bit race, customers don't need 64.
