i believe htc would manufacture and sell finished goods to HP. even with motherboards the taiwanese sell finished goods and take revenue. HTC will pay royalty--and not HP

mschere, I disagree after reviewing the langauge in the NEC contract. See my post on the subject. It looks like IDCC has instituted a system where they should collect at each stage, applying downstream credits where applicable. This ensures they get paid by all parties involved.
