You're statements were vague enough that I'm not quite sure what you mean by 10 mths more survival 80%.
So, for the record...the probability or statistical significance has nothing to do with the treatment -- it's a measure of whether the results of a particular trial are valid. i.e. there is a 1 in 20 chance that the result of this trial was due to an event unrelated to the drug.
