What is not clear is, would signing to surrender make the credit record as clean as before the lawsuit?

Can anyone offer a meaningful opinion as to what the tradeoffs are? For example, if you sign it then XXXXXX will probably happen, if not then YYYYYY will probably happen.

If you sign, you're handing over your stock to Megas. Nobody knows yet what'll happen if you don't sign.
