I transferred my shares from an individual to a joint 3 months ago-and she still got a summons and had nothing to do with it lol

chuckrmon, I can answer that question. I have joint account as well and called the attorney for bcit they said had to fill em both out, makes no sense that is for sure. Hope this helps, I sent both in....

Maybe 1500+- defendants and 1200+- accounts that' why there is some 300=- missing.

hello chuck...sorry just got home. Ok, YES, you have to fill out both the one for you and one for your wife. I know it is the same information, but that is why our legal system is so screwed up LOL sorry. I will not show as DOUBLE the shares because you are both using the SAME account # and should also show as under the same # on the defendants list. hope this helps :)

I bought BCIT in a Joint Account with my wife's name on account and confirm also.
However, we received two separate summons...one for me and one for her.
Isn't this wrong since we are listed as one "joint" account and not two separate accounts.


Someone else reported the same thing. Seems strange to me, but maybe it's not possible to issue one summons for more than one person.
