Girlfriend's daughter holding in 401k She was on vacation in Japan when it hit $85. Is constantly asking me if it will ever get back there and I don't have an answer. She is still accumulating shares as I told her "Eventually it will be $90 a share". Am I too optimistic? :^)
Sox yesterday and today. Now although some chips did already lose the 50 ma and the SOX itself (we had the chart) watching the 50 ma like hawk, we did cover all shorts and starting small with additions to SNPS, IBM and SNDK and some others as you'll see in the newsletter which I'll send out soon.
Chart did move as low as 492, but support wasn't all lost even as the 11/21 -11/22 mini double bottom was taken down briefly, the doji close on daily (not posted here but that's where we ) looks like a 'bottom' at least for a while might be upcoming. I this particular chart there was a bullish reversal above a DOJI close (in essence possibly a brief glimpse into the future at a similar move on tomorrow's daily sox chart)

My question (not to put a damper on any partying) but will the TXN report not trigger a sell the news which has been the rule rather than the exception. With a new "put play" running in KLAC there is very little if any exposure on the short side (we were careful not to leave ourselves exposed after some good shorting this morning through 2:30) but like "leisure suit larry" we are wearing our 'wash 'n wear' polyester suit ready to 'travel' at the drop of a hat.
There are other sox companies from 'better homes' that might be ready now after this 6 day pullback, we'll see. I'm still more bullish on DOW than the nasdaq but if the TXN report can do more than just light a weak flame that dies, we might actually have the move in the DOW and other sectors alight even for swing plays.
