Let me state mephatically that neither Rager nor I are involved in the OTC Boycott site in any way other than having hosted it on our server.

I can assure you that I am the only one who does technical work on that server and I do not harvest e-mail addresses anywhere and never have on any server at any time. Nor have I ever sent out spam myself or in relation to any domain I owned or had an interest in -- I, too, hate spam.

Along those lines, the only e-mails that MarketBeasts sends out (in any way, shape or form) are the daily updates on the contests -- who picked what and what the open, high, low and close were on those picks. We do not have a newsletter and no interest in collecting information or addresses.

Having said that -- I know nothing about a pop-up at the OTC Boycott site -- I didn't know it had been put there. You'll have to discuss that with the crew that are doing the HTML for that site. I can only say it wasn't me.

Anyway... thanks for your comments and I'm just sorry this got so out of hand. Such was NEVER my intent when I set up the domain for this effort.

It is truly amazing that a small discussion on a website somewhere in the middle of cyberspace can, in a matter of days, grow into something so large that is has every financial site on the Internet talking about it.

Never underestimate the power of the Internet.

As far as I know I am the only one that has done any work on the web site, a few people asked for volunteers and I stepped up to try to help the cause by offering my assistance. First of all I am not gathering email addresses nor do I have any reason whatsoever for gathering email addresses. I simply volunteered my limited knowledge of web site design, I thought to help.

Patsy- What did the pop-up say that you are referring to, I never put any kind of pop-up on the site.

Spiel-If you would, please change the password to access the server, I will not need to be accessing it any longer, I spent a lot of time up to this point to start this site and I value my time and efforts and no longer wish to be associated with the site to prevent any more accuastions by "anyone".

To guarantee to the ones that are questioning motives of the site I will be removing the work that I have done to prove that I am not trying to gain from this. I will save the work to a disk if anyone else wants to take over.

I did not benifit nor did I intend to benifit from this site in any way, shape, form, or fashion. I don’t understand how one person can lead people to believe that something was going on other than to help the cause we were all fighting for. One thing that I do understand is that I wasted 2 days working on this site for nothing.

Great post Patsy! I was hoping you'd be around to help. This has gotten way out of hand, and I was trying to think of ways to deal with it, but I'm glad you are here!
