Braelyn’s tumor tissue has officially arrived at the Advent facility in the UK, and manufacturing of her tumor lysate for DCVax-L is scheduled to begin next week.
Looks to me that either comparability studies were done on leukapheresis material to extend the 24 hr limit on its use or the leukapheresis clinic is near Advent. The way it looks to me is that leukapheresis material can be kept for way over 24hrs for processing enabling the material to be shipped from farther away to Sawston. If so, that would be a nice manufacturing improvement. How else am I supposed to read this. EDIT: Always speculated that a comparability study was done to extend the time the leukapheresis material could be used but it was always speculation. This seems to confirn it was done.
