Jesster, iam sorry to hear about your elevated PSA to 19. You need to fire your primary doc if he says he will wait and watch. That needs a referral to a urologist and a battery of further tests. If the tests are reassuring , like a negative posluma psma pet/ct study, then we can err on prostatitis and treat you with a 6-8 antibiotic course. If cancer is unfortunately found, heavens will not fall down and there are many treatment options to make you to outlive the cancer. Nowadays urologists are very well trained in usa to tackle any stage prostate cancer. Dont get frustrated with the diagnosis, just tackle it methodically and it will be very quickly behind you. Hope you found a good medical team to contain it. One last thing , dont trust alternative herbal remedies and many of those are downright dangerous to prostate cancer. Some of the urologists do additional one year uro oncology fellowship and they are more suitable for prostate cancer management. Stay well brother.

jesster64 Sorry to hear about your dilemma. That loser doctor that wasn't concerned about your high PSA needs a good old fashion Brooklyn ass whipping.
Best Wishes
JT.
