There's a war going on. Actual people are involved... with guns and bombs and missiles and shit. What "the Iranian People truly want" isn't really part of the equation. Iran isn't Syria.

Maybe before you talk about aspirations, you should read something about the Iranian military. They're the ones with the guns, and they're kind of formidable. Unless the asshole in chief is planning to commit troops, they're still in charge.
