When it comes to Anavex, conspiracy theories never die. Please come back to reality: Missling and Missling alone is responsible for the disaster we have all lived through. The guy is an incompetent CEO who should be a bean counter somewhere out of public view. There is no conspiracy against Anavex. There never has been. Anavex is not taken seriously by anybody (not big pharma and not the media) except his cult followers who have staked so much of their fragile egos on one guy. Please stop. This is about investing. Take the conspiracies to the darkest corners of the Internet where they belong.

Maybe, it is Missling that is the fly in the ointment ... maybe, he was recruited by BP to be the saboteur.

Basically, one meaningful disease-oriented trial with paltry numbers of participants is run and when the less than stellar results are achieved, no follow-up trials are done. Rett was probably a half a point too high in one placebo girl from attaining a p<.05.

I know Anavex had a streak of bad luck with Covid happening, but there was nothing done to mitigate its impact, such as run another trial for Rett or PR or AD. This shows to me that Missling is NOT action oriented nor has a staff that is either.

Hopefully, Tom Skarpelos brings a new slate of directors to vie for control of the Board. His ouster from it did not generate an 8-K as is required by SEC rules, so I hope he is "as mad as Hell" at his treatment and will fight back.

Yes, but not from any boogeyman - from Anavex mismanagement of its assets.

...it is apparent to this long also, especially when Anavex comes close to their first approval and what a great thought out post!

I believe even if avxl did run the proper P3 Alz trial with a positive readout, would be in the same spot as today possibly delayed by a surprise safety study requirement or something #bureaucracy. The potential of maintaining the 1B+ market cap would have been preserved by running the trial though in my humble opinion. Perhaps Missling was played by the EMA, regardless it does not excuse the poor trial designs (RETT) of the past. He has never delivered any great news, just continuously pr's validating scientific data The fact now exists that Anavex is in a group of biotechs that are addressing upstream approaches to treating CNS. When one advances on positive news, it will effect the group. I believe all of these players will partner at some point and their valuations will dramatically increase, just not to the lofty numbers as if there was one golden egg. Yes Dr Missling, deliver great FDA news soon and perhaps start a new trial.
Happy Easter!
