You guys love to worry, honestly we nor anyone else has a clue.

There are 4,000 patent related law suites filed every year and takes between1 and 3 years to wind its way through the courts and 97% settle out of court. Relax

"This morning’s litigation is a classic "Foundry War." GlobalFoundries is asserting dominance over the Silicon Photonics market just as it begins to explode. For Lightwave, the GlobalFoundries partnership is now their most valuable asset, as it represents the "legal" path into the U.S. AI infrastructure."

As for Reds commenting on Marcellis share count, perhaps he needs to take a cognitive test before parroting shorts rhetoric.

Gotta run

Simply incredible, this is why the Big 4 are spending $750B in Capex on AI in 2026 alone. Awesome post CarlinNM, Thx!

The Likely Outcome: We will likely see these partners consolidate their development onto the GlobalFoundries PDK for their U.S.-bound products, while perhaps keeping Tower for their Asian or European markets (where the U.S. ITC has no jurisdiction).

Works for me, GF in U.S., Tower for ROW (rest of world). IMO, this is a positive, so as not to be so dependent on one single foundry (GFS). Additionally, the mere fact that GF is eager to protect its IP, market share and dominance by even bringing this suit with (LWLG) technology smack in the middle of the litigation, tell's you everything you need to know...;)

Thanks. Since GF acquired AMF foundry that was already working with Perk, I wonder if any IP of AMF is being leveraged by GF in this lawsuit?
