gfp: I read where turkey had to liquidate 58 Tons of its Gold reserves in a 2 week period. That has had something to do with the Gold price dropping. But in the intermediate to long term this war and the long term damage that has resulted is going to generate lower global GDP to go along with reconstruction costs of energy infrastructure. The only way to pay for it is with the printing press. I'll post the latest McAlvany Weekly Commentary. It's only a matter of time before the Fed institutes Yield Curve Control. Inflation is going to get much, much worse. So the tailwinds that have been behind hard assets are going to get much stronger.
