I think they are adding the 2.6m volume from yesterday.

Yes that appears to be the most logical answer, volume from yesterday and volume today less the 15 minute delay. Volume after the close will let us know if that's the answer.

I wasn't going to comment until you did, several here were getting into the weeds with the conspiracy posts.
