I’m not at all sure of that. People have always come here for particular posters more than the stocks they write or wrote about. Or they come for a big discussion about, say, a promotional group like APS, or a law firm like Carrillo Huettel. Both are now mostly gone, though Carrillo is still active in Mexico.

Recent political events have profoundly affected many of the markets, and will continue to do so.

The board has changed and so has the country and the markets because of the current president. It's a weekly thing with Trump shooting first and asking questions later. And then realizing sometimes how he screwed up. It's a weekly occurrence with Trump from illegal tariffs to Greenland to Venezuela, to Iran to Cuba.

And Congress is too feckless to stop him.
