While I think your question is worthy of discussion, I also wonder if with longevity the dose couldn't be dramatically reduced and treatment continue many years longer.

I gather that with the current protocol patients having success are dosed to three years, but that's all the vaccine that's available. If after the first year the dose was reduced, then further reduction in the third year, perhaps treatment could continue to 5 years, or more.

I suspect that after approval both Dr. and patient may decide on such treatment. The question may become, does the payment become based on the size of the dose, or is the price the same regardless of the dose size.

Clearly, if the company is paid each time a dose is given, the vaccine becomes more profitable from a given patient with each additional dose. If the vaccine is achieving the desired reaction, shouldn't a smaller dose still get the reaction, but take a bit longer to do so.
