It may or may not continue to do well. My only point is, tons of money went here because of Warren. Now, you're just like any mutual fund that needs to operate on its own merit. Maybe they'll maintain the great relationships they have with companies to acquire inside info. They're still a massive influence on the Market. They've actually maintained better than I predicted they would. They've bounced back from their big loss in January.
The company recently disclosed that it began repurchasing shares on March 4 in a way that’s almost conspicuously un-Berkshire.
Berkshire usually lets buybacks surface later, tucked inside a quarterly filing. This time, it chose a spotlight, precisely because Greg Abel is newly in charge — and investors are newly jumpy.
Of course, Abel buying back shares would help the share price in itself.
