Slow down Turbo! China won't be able to flip the switch as fast as you insinuate. Even if someone had the full blueprint today, you’re still looking at 3-5 years minimum and more likely 5-10 to replicate what KBLB has already built—because you don’t just copy this biology, you have to rebuild it generation by generation. Then test it on the market. This isn't Play-Skool toys where "flooding the market"

Remember, China got a mention in NatGeo. KBLB got the spotlight. That should tell you everything about who’s actually closest to scale.

Besides, this isn’t plastic where you flood the market and win on price—this is a performance material where if it doesn’t meet spec, it doesn’t get used. There is no ‘knock-off’ version of spider silk for parachutes, armor, or medical use—there’s only ‘meets standard’ or ‘fails completely.’”

I agree but I believe that once Kblb demonstrates that their supply chain is solidly built and established and they can consistently pump out that 1 ton a month, a company such as DuPont , as one example, will swoop in and buy Kblb outright , expand its operations and accelerate its program and logistics.

Let’s not forget there is a military interest and one could argue national interest. The US is not going to let China dominate this area. I believe the government will indirectly motivate a partnering company to get involved if need be. NatGeo has brought obvious attention to the company and I would think KT is eager to make deals as soon as feasible.

KBLB will need many more production locations than 3 to meet future demand.
