"soon"... once all litigation is finished, the Trustee will probably decide whether to authorize any release of distributions to Legacy WMI shareholders IF/WHEN trigger requirements have been met.

That's what many of us Legacy beneficial interest holders have been saying umpteen different ways & times, only to have naysayers say... "NAY"

What we have been missing was an EXACT DATE, which your line of questioning has kind of provided, tentatively. and generally:

Next Major Event Final Decree and Trust Dissolution (Targeted for Late 2026)

Thank you, boarddork. Have a nice weekend...

Thanks BD

Next Step: You should formally request a "Statement of Account" from Allspring Global Investments for Series 2004-RS1. Ask specifically for the "Current Balance of the Supplemental Reserve Account" and whether a "Notice of Final Distribution" has been drafted for the 2026 calendar year.

In 2019 S&P Global rated AA+ the Series 2004-RS1 of WAMU Mortgage Pass Thru Certificates, aka UQ cusip 939322 10. Managed by Allspring as AZ has posted before

https://www.spglobal.com/ratings/en/regulatory/article/-/view/sourceId/10835497

"We placed our 'AA+ (sf)' ratings on classes A-3, A-4, A-5, A-6, A-11, and A-12
from WaMu Mortgage Pass-Through Certificates Series 2004-RS1 Trust on
CreditWatch with negative implications. The CreditWatch negative placements
reflect our review of a legal expense incurred in the October 2018 remittance
period, which could have a negative impact on our ratings on the affected
classes. After verifying with the trustee the nature of this expense and the
impact, if any, on these classes, we will take rating actions that we consider
appropriate per our criteria, including downgrades to the low
speculative-grade range and/or withdrawals."
