It is nice that UK is setting up a program to assist in trial recruitment for patients into trials.
NWBO has not enrolled a single patient in a trial in over 10 years (despite frequent statements that they were going to do so). Maybe they will actually start a new trial with DCVax Direct "soon". Not sure if that comes under the plan though (Baxter's specific Q described -L). Sounds like there are no plans at all for -L trials. And any Roswell tech trials will be in the US.
Maybe if a trial actually starts in the next few years we can revisit exactly what this news means.
Chiugray, excellent due diligence recall and application.
“My thoughts. The Cancer Vaccine Launch Pad (CVLP) can be the engine in the future to match whole genome sequencing (WGS) data to cancer patients for personalized therapies, especially like DCVax-L.
Last year, it was published that Prof. Ashkan sequenced the whole genome for 400 brain tumors. That data set is part of the UK’s 100,000 Genomes Project, and that is the database from which the CVLP will use.”
