Cyberlux has accused this particular receiver of overstepping his boundaries. The claim is that the initial receivership was solely to ensure the payment of Atlantic Wave's foreign judgement, and that has occurred. The money to pay that was tendered in June 2025 yet the receiver continued to act as a receiver in charge of clearing all debt, even debt that was not rendered in a judgement. Then in November, the lawsuit was paid after a court hearing in Virginia, and there initial funds paid into the Texas court registry are still there. Despite this, Cyberlux claims the receiver has "settled" another lawsuit with Atlantic Wave in a different state for 6 million dollars that Cyberlux is now also having to fight. It can be argued that none of the receivers actions after receiving the payout amount has appeared to be in the best interest of Cyberlux. So why is he doing all of this? Take a quick look at his proposed bills and it may give you some idea. In June 2025, after being on the case around 3 weeks, the receiver tendered his bill for around 800,000. Who knows what he is seeking now, but it is most assuredly significantly more than that as he claims to have to be involved in multiple lawsuits in multiple jurisdictions.
