This does me think of a picture some while ago taken by Yves in metro somewhere in Asian together with Robert Blum. Was this the Metro to TSMC? Somebody had comment on that picture knowing in which Asian country the picture was made. Just little guessing and dreaming. Like to watch LWLG is building step by step.

VisEra is (now) a fully TSMC-controlled subsidiary that extends TSMC’s ecosystem into wafer-level optical sensing / specialty backend manufacturing.
VisEra’s depicted PIC modulator concept is strongly aligned with LWLG’s polymer slot modulator architecture at the device stack and integration Logic level. ( comparing Visera website picture with Lightwave’s presentation pictures).
VisEra’s ‘ under development ‘ status confirms that TSMC/ Visera’s SOH/organic-EO direction is exactly positioned around LWLG’s slot modulator architecture at device stack and integration level, This doesn’t mean there is a ‘deal’, but the ‘evidence’ points certainly in that direction.
