If entering the agreement didn't trigger a filing then I doubt notice would trigger a filing.

Example

Day 1 LP gives her 61-day notice to the Company. The shares are 61 days away, so they are not yet beneficially owned under the 60-day rule.

Day 2 The shares are now 60 days away.

Under SEC rule 13-3 , as soon as those shares are acquirable within 60 days, they must be included in the Beneficial Ownership table of the next SEC filing 10-K, 10-Q, or Proxy Statement.
