"Market is simply unconcerned" about the company and its management in general.
NWBO is a penny stock with a long history of no results as far as the market is concerned. It has been on the verge of BK for years. It has run 1 trial on it's own and that was many years ago. It has a drug application into the UK which has taken more than 2 years in process with no result so far.
These are the reasons the market in unconcerned with NWBO.
All that could change with a UK approval, but until that happens, the market will remain unaware of NWBO. BP does keep track of NWBO as it does of most developmental biotechs. You can argue whether the shorts are involved with BP or are simply the vultures doing their vulture thing. The shorts are very aware of NWBO because they have been making money from controlling the stock price. That will continue until there is approval or buyout which will generate interest in the larger market to compete with the shorts control.
To the larger market NWBO isn't an also ran only because the race isn't over. The market views NWBO as a horse way back in the pack, unworthy of concern. NWBO will have to become a dark horse to get the market's attention.
