coaching and umpiring I would say counts as retirement. If we get acquired with a stock swap then I will see what kind of $ i can generate with covered calls. If i am forced with cash and need to take taxes into account then I will need more than $10 to consider retirement in my 40s. 1/3rd of my position is in IRAs so i need to have money to get me to 60, send 2 kids to college, post college etc, fund traveling and a vacation home so $20 is likely the # for me

Yea FeMike, if I was younger I would not retire either, but like I said I am just 2.5 years away from normal retirement.

I retired at 46. I highly recommend it !!😎
Life is a one shot deal, so don't waste time staying in the 'system'.

This morning I was seriously considering $2. 120k $ is nothing to sneeze at for a side account. Now I have champagne wishes and caviar dreams in mind again. $5, I might cash mostly out and work at a goodwill store and hit estate sales for fun. In between traveling. After it hit 10$ , i started looking for my WWF million dollar man pajamas to give the wife a thrill.

I feel like I'm one of the younger ones on this board as well, but really I have no way of knowing.
Like you, there's probably no number that would get me to retire now. Although, I would love to be able to tell my wife she never had to work again.
I probably have less shares than most here (since I'm actually honest about my holdings), but I still think it's possible.
